The DVD’s are getting closer to production if anyone prefers all the videos from [...] Without further ado here is the stuff that we’ve all been waiting for. Firstly I’ve written up the full trip report, it’s 6000 words so don’t feel too compelled to venture in, and I’ll get some photos on it asap to break up the page a little. Get it here. And most importantly here [...] Having started to write our full trip report and already surpassed the 3000 word mark I’ve realised a couple of crucial things: It’s going to take me a while before I can post it on here and… most people won’t read it! So on that note here is the story I’m trying to compose [...] Mark Twight says that after a big trip you have to spend some time getting normal again – talking to other people, eating real food, crossing roads – you know, all the good stuff. Puerto Natales is perfect for that, there aren’t too many people or too many cars and the food is wonderful [...] And boy have we got some stories to tell! I’d been hoping not to be updating the blog for a while, however the weather in the park has been really rather wet this week and so we’ve decided to come back to town for a restock and replenish of bodies and supplies! Any [...] All ready and raring to go! George got here last night through a story that is probably best told by himself and is throughly ready for action! Today has been a steady effort of finally buying the last of the food and supplies and then trying to massage them into 6 carry-able loads. We [...] So we’re still taking it easy in Puerto Natales, had a text from George this morning so we can only assume that he is still on his way South! To pass time we’ve been sleeping and sitting about in order to recover from the inevitable travel lag we’re experiencing. There is a monster food [...] |
